Business operations
NYAB is a specialised contractor and project services provider focused on energy, infrastructure and industry in Sweden, Finland and Norway.

The offering combines advisory, engineering and project management with construction and maintenance for public and private sector customers. The portfolio spans major investment projects, specialist assignments and recurring work.
Exposure to attractive growth markets.
Investments in energy, infrastructure and industry are multi-year and driven by societal needs. Electrification, security of supply, infrastructure renewal and industrial development underpin long-term investment programmes across the Nordics. Investment areas include power networks, transport and water infrastructure, industrial facilities and data centres.
These investment programmes create demand for expertise throughout the project lifecycle, from early planning and engineering to execution and maintenance.
Two complementary business segments.
Operations are organised into two business segments: Civil Engineering and Consulting. The combined capabilities broaden the range of customer needs and project phases that can be addressed. Services are delivered through standalone assignments or combined into broader project commitments.

Civil Engineering
Within the Civil Engineering business segment, projects are developed and delivered in Sweden and Finland.
Customers include energy companies, industrial groups, transport authorities and municipalities. Responsibilities cover project development, engineering, project management, construction and maintenance. Early involvement connects engineering with construction expertise, giving customers a clearer basis for decisions on scope, technical solutions, cost and delivery before execution begins.
Assignments range from specialist services to broader delivery commitments. Collaborative early-phase assignments may progress into execution through subsequent orders.

Consulting
Within the Consulting business segment, services are provided through Dovre Solutions and Sitema. The offering comprises advisory services, project and programme management, engineering, technical specialist expertise and project personnel solutions.
The core market is the Nordics, complemented by an international project personnel offering. Assignments are primarily delivered through recurring customer relationships, framework agreements and time-based contracts. Specialist resources and project personnel are matched to customer needs.
Advisory and specialist expertise also supports selected broader project commitments within the Civil Engineering business segment.
A scalable and capital-efficient operating model.
Within the Civil Engineering business segment, in-house engineering and project management are combined with flexible execution capacity. Most physical execution is carried out by subcontractors and specialist partners. Customer relationships and responsibility for project commitments are retained, with project teams managing cost, schedule and quality.
A limited permanent production organisation and low reliance on owned machinery reduce the need to take on projects simply to keep production resources occupied. Projects can instead be selected based on technical expertise, margin requirements and risk. Experienced teams can take responsibility for larger assignments, with additional execution capacity provided through partners. This supports growth without proportionate increases in internal resources or fixed production assets.
Across the Group, limited fixed investment, profitable delivery and disciplined management of payment terms and working capital support cash generation and financial flexibility. This provides capacity to develop the business and invest in the expertise that supports continued selective growth.
