Ethics and compliance
We act with integrity by conducting our business responsibly, maintaining transparency, and complying with applicable laws, regulations and requirements.

Strong values, responsible decisions.
We foster a culture, both internally and externally, that promotes business ethics, accountability and strong relationships.
This means that we:
- act with a long-term and responsible perspective
- comply with applicable laws, regulations and good business practice
- safeguard the trust of our customers, partners and society
A strong corporate culture is an important part of how we operate. It fosters a sense of community and collaboration, where employees work towards shared goals and take collective ownership of both successes and challenges.
Our ambition is to build strong team spirit and high levels of engagement that support ways of working aligned with our Code of Conduct. A healthy culture contributes to a positive working environment, strengthens our ability to attract and retain talent, and creates the conditions for long-term development.
Collaborative delivery and learning at NYAB.
Kraftsamla is NYAB’s established approach for delivering projects procured as collaborative contracts. The model is based on close cooperation between all parties, shared objectives and structured, transparent project governance.
In critical infrastructure projects within energy, infrastructure and industry, there are high demands for coordination, precision and the ability to manage complexity. NYAB enables this through early joint planning of scope, risks and schedules, as well as continuous monitoring of progress and costs. This contributes to greater predictability and reduced uncertainty in project delivery.
The approach also strengthens team spirit within projects. When different disciplines work towards a shared objective, close collaboration develops, where responsibility is shared and decisions are made jointly. This creates engagement and a strong sense of team cohesion, even in highly complex delivery environments.
A key element of the model is continuous learning. Lessons learned are captured and shared across projects, regions and technical disciplines. This supports the development of working methods, improves quality and strengthens the organisation’s overall competence over time.
Kraftsamla reflects how we work in practice – with collaboration, accountability and transparency as core principles. It is an approach that supports delivery in demanding environments, where client needs and the long-term performance of the infrastructure delivered.
Supporting transparency and accountability.
NYAB has an established whistleblowing system that enables employees and external stakeholders to report suspected misconduct or breaches of regulations, without risk of retaliation. The whistleblowing system is a key part of our commitment to transparency and ethical business conduct.
The system is managed by an independent external provider and overseen jointly with the Board’s Audit Committee to ensure confidentiality, integrity and impartial handling of all reports. It is accessible via NYAB’s website and is available to everyone – both employees and external stakeholders. Reports can be submitted anonymously, and all whistleblowers are protected against retaliation.
The system strengthens trust within the organisation and supports a culture where integrity is upheld in practice.
Responding to reported issues
Reported cases are handled in accordance with established procedures, and different types of incidents may result in different actions. These may relate to health and safety matters, safety incidents or other deviations in operations.
Where necessary, investigations are carried out and corrective actions are taken to address identified issues. In serious cases, this may lead to disciplinary measures.
Other ways to raise concerns
In addition to the whistleblowing system, employees are encouraged to raise concerns as part of their day-to-day work, for example through:
- dialogue with their manager
- team meetings and project reviews
- performance and development discussions
- contact with HR in relation to issues such as harassment or working environment matters
Incidents and accidents are reported through internal systems and followed up in a structured and systematic way.
Monitoring and continuous improvement
The effectiveness of our reporting channels is monitored through employee surveys, which assess, among other things, confidence in internal processes and communication.
We continuously work to develop our reporting and incident management processes in order to strengthen transparency, psychological safety and organisational learning.

Building strong and responsible partnerships.
We collaborate with a wide range of suppliers and partners who play a key role in delivering our projects. We set high standards for our suppliers and expect them to share our principles of accountability and ethical business conduct.
At the same time, we take responsibility as a client and work to build long-term, fair business relationships based on openness, transparency and mutual respect.
An important part of this is ensuring fair and timely payment terms. For small and medium-sized suppliers, late payments can have a significant impact on liquidity and operational stability.
Through clear processes and financial responsibility, we contribute to a more stable supply chain, reduce operational risks and strengthen long-term partnerships.
